LEARN THESE NOTES ON YOUR "E" & "A" STRINGS BECAUSE THEY WILL BE USED TO FIND THE NAMES OF YOUR BAR CHORDS.

If you were to play this “E” shaped bar chord from the 5th fret you would be playing an A Major chord. If you were to play it from the 7th fret you would be playing a B Major chord, it is as simple as that.

Here is an example of the three different bar chords we've learn't so far. If you wanted to play a C Major chord three different ways, you would play them as written below.
