ROOT 6 (5th Chord)
You can see how this root 6 position 5th chord
is only the lower three strings of the E shaped bar chord.

More experienced players usually use this version of the chord, it gives a fuller sound and it's still easy enough to move up and down the fretboard.
ROOT 5 (5th Chord)
This root 5 position 5th chord
is only the lower three strings of the A shaped bar chord.

ROOT 4 (5th Chord)
This root 4 position 5th chord
is only the lower three strings of the D shaped bar chord.

This shape is also not a common one to use, but it does have a slick sound when the amp is distorted. Once again this is a personal preference sounding chord as it can be played as a root 5 position further up the neck.
